MailStore Server Installation Fails on Windows Server 2000/2003

Problem: During the installation on a Windows Server 2000/2003 an error message related to ' makecert.exe is logged and installation is unsuccessful.

Solution: This problem is related to the permissions of the MachineKeys folder which is a subfolder of All Users Profile\Application Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA. To learn how to restore the default permissions, please refer to article 278381 of the Microsoft Knowledgebase.
